Oh well the season has come to a fairly pleasing end, having manged to secure 3rd place  Even though the season is over, Manager Alex Rae has been rather busy trying to determin what sort of players might be available and rebuilding has begun in ernest.               -----------------

As preseason approaches, the fixtures have been revealed.  Although not as bad as last year, Dundee have been scheduled to play on three weekends as our neighbours Dundee Utd, as apposed to last year when six fixtures had to be dealt with, what makes it so bad is that there is three weekends where, wait for it, both Dundee teams play away at the same time, god is it that hard to work out???????  Before then, there is a couple of friendlies arranged for mid July against Millwall and Montrose.  Hopefully by then we will have a quality of players at Dens that the fans can get excited about and who knows maybe season tickets sales will be at a premium given that we are in the First Division, there is no doubt that Dundee has the best support in the division with Dunfermline and St Johnstone being the exception and the only teams to have a fans base close to that of what Dundee has
